I was already thinking this was a long week yesterday, Tuesday. I thought if I could just get through work today, I could have a nice long weekend (even without any bullshit holidays) under the weighted blanket.

But at work today, I found out that because of the difficulty of getting a doctor's appointment that shouldn't even be needed anyway, I have to call up by 8am tomorrow in hopes of getting one for my employer. If I'm successful I'll have to go to work whenever during the day that is. If not I have to do the same thing on Friday and try again.

I don't mind extra work, but it's an annoying reason and I wish I at least knew when I was doing the extra work.

Ugh. That sounds extremely inconvenient. Hopefully it gets cleared up favorably...

Ugh I hate this phone at 8am thing, it's so unfair and a massive access barrier. Hope you can get an appt tomorrow (which may be today by now) so you don't have to repeat this on Friday.

Ugh hate that. Mine was after 17:00and GP didn't SMS till 18:05 although it was the ENT GP who knows me and she did gimme what I wanted and sort my amitriptyline out.

Hope L's appt happened reasonably and wasn't too long after 3pm.

90 mins is still a long time to be on edge, especially as you have to assume they might call early too. Hurrah for result even if it shouldn't have needed an appointment - that is one of those "twas ever thus" things I think.
