8 What’s the most unusual or random item in your purse, bag, or wallet?
I read this and thought but everything in my bag is really normal! wallet, keys, headphones, folded-up grocery bags, hat...even the hand gel and masks are not unusual or random now!
And then I remembered I have a white cane in my bag and most people don't. Heh. How do they manage!
Even fewer people will have the 130cm carbon fiber (I think it's carbon fiber, anyway) one with a roller ball tip. There are many like it, but this is mine.

Oh also, I wanted to say I had my next therapy appointment today and even though Events Had Conspired to mean I didn't get to talk about the issues I'd had last time, they didn't come up at all this time -- because she keeps asking me how I physically feel when I'm talking, and about my breathing and everything, I was able to use my "big rubber band around me" metaphor again and she didn't argue with it or anything this time. I had another good session. I was a little wary in case the same kind of thing happened again, but buoyed up by all the support from you guys, so thank you to everyone who commented there.

Date: 2020-10-09 03:18 pm (UTC)I wonder what I've got in my bag...nothing much unusual, but I did find my mental health diagnosis/treatment plan from March in there. Took it out to file it.
Glad therapy went well and we were able to be helpful. Community care is where it's at.

Date: 2020-10-10 02:14 pm (UTC)Hearing aid batteries (I also carry the smaller more commonly used type that I don't use cos I'm likely to be known as hearing aid battery carrier).
RADAR key on my usual keyring, need to see if we still have a house spare and stick it on the smaller keyring I'm often using in COVID times.
Dextrose tablets.
Various drugs (usually codeine, diazepam, domperidone and ibuprofen at least. Sometimes also celecoxib, cetirizine, chlorphenamine, lanzoprazole and pseudo-ephedrine.)
Blue lensed second pair of glasses + a pile of migraine meds for emergencies (usually zolmitriptan and domperidone but also random other triptans altho I should throw those away cos they're horrid).
More hearing aid batteries. My ideal is to have them in coat, phone/pocket thing and my main bag.
USB LED light thinger.
So yeah most of my interesting stuff is disability related.
