[225/265] Satuesday

Here's a tragic story.
I woke up absolutely convinced it was Saturday. I went down to let the dog out and trudged back to bed looking forward to a nice lie-in.
It was a little while after I got back into bed before the fact that it might not be Saturday permeated my consciousness. I had to look at my phone to find out it's Tuesday. It was still long before my alarm, though I didn't get back to sleep, so I had a long time to contemplate the fact that somehow I had to get up and go to work.
It seemed impossible, but I did it.
I just...it's not that unusual to wake up unsure of what day it is (this kinda follows on from my post last night). But I wasn't unsure at all: I was utterly convinced. I wasn't thinking "what day is it?", I was thinking "since it's Saturday..."
To be so wrong, to pick as diametrically-opposed a day as possible, and to confuse the middle of my working week (Sun-Thurs) for a weekend was such a weird feeling. It made me laugh, though not as cheerfully as I would've if I'd thought it was Tuesday and it turned out to be Saturday.
