One of the farmers we talked to, when she found out we were here from Manchester for the second weekend out of the last three, shook her head and said "You must be crazy. There must be better things to do." We couldn't argue. But still, getting a Tory out of parliament in a time of such a wafer-thin majority seems like a worthwhile use of a weekend.

You're doing excellent work there, hope the seat flips! Then BoJo only has a majority of one right?

Sounds like Sheffield might be up for grabs soon as well, although not from a Tory so slightly less satisfying.

Yep he'll only have a majority of one if this works.

Sheffield won't take a seat off the Tories but it'll take one from someone who hasn't been able to vote a lot, and more votes against Brexit and the other terrible things are better than abstentions. Plus Sheffield is much easier to get to and the Lib Dems have a good candidate there so it's definitely a by-election I'd like to help out with if it happens (i.e. if it doesn't get subsumed into a general election).

General Election seems more and more likely at the moment. Aside from lots more lib dems, which I'm reasonably confident in, I really have no idea what would happen otherwise though. I can't remember the contest being this unpredictable.
