[180/365] up north

Today my parents (and aunts and uncle and grandma and a couple of cousins and the kids of the one who has kids) are on their way to their traditional Up North at the Cabin by The Lake vacation. A week of fishing and swimming and kayaks and bonfires at night with s'mores. We did more or less the same thing all the time I was growing up. My mom and her sisters have (in varying numbers) done this since they were kids.

My family can drive me so crazy but the vacation itself I miss and I feel wrong not being there.
