Strongly agreed, it's bullshit. And having done it the other way (on a fiance visa even) I agree about how horribly costly the whole process is. People who bitch about immigrants coming over here taking our jerbs have no idea how bloody hard it is to do legally, into any First World country (with the obvious EU->EU exception, anyway).
