Sometimes it's better to light a flamethrower than curse the darkness

Yeah, I've got a friend offer to take my broken stuff to the tip. As for the rest, what I want done with the house and garden is more "getting the front garden paved/flagged" than "planting or weeding" kinds of things. We need laminate instead of carpet. That kind of thing, not sure how much of it is amenable to this kind of Holly-and-parents project. But I've got a couple of days to figure it out still, I guess.
