[128/365] bank holiday

Such a stereotypical bank holiday.

I woke up to rain. Lots. It rained all morning. And the rest of the day kinda felt like it was raining even if it wasn't.

I didn't get out of bed until after noon.

I nearly fell asleep on the sofa this afternoon.

This evening I finally got bored enough to do some boring stuff: tidy my personal emails (I'm pretty okay at my work ones but this has been at the expense of being completely garbage at my own), replying to stuff where replies were days or months overdue, looking for An Important Piece of Paper that I needed to email someone a number from. And in my initial failure to do that I got so fed up that I tidied all of my paperwork (finally some stuff I didn't know what to do with when I moved here could be thrown away! goodbye old house stuff!). When I looked for something in my computer's download folder and got frustrated, I did a first pass at tidying all that up too.

For dinner, diffrentcolours made...whatever you call the veggie version of shepherd's pie or cottage pie (we tried to think of a name for it but got sidetracked into an argument about whether shepherds eat lamb so I still don't know what it should be called...I suppose you could eat any kind of pie in a cottage though couldn't you?). Lovely cozy good for a rainy day.

And tonight since L mentioned that he has never seen Everything Everywhere All at Once, he and D and I are watching that, while Gary sleeps and the others are upstairs.
