[26/365] Turkish restaurant

Today James and I went to a Turkish restaurant where all the starters were the sort of thing you'd expect -- hummus, stuffed vine leaves, etc. -- but the mains were pizzas. The vegetarian pizza I got had halloumi and feta on it. And red peppers and tons of fresh basil. It was really tasty. I had a glass of merlot too. We marveled that it was like a proper date thing, "like normal people do." It was nice.

I know this is a bit "short declarative sentences" like ten-year-olds are told not to write in their essays any more, but it's late and I just got home and I didn't sleep last night so this is all there is.

I rather like the written effect of short declarative sentences.

Yeah, it's not by far the worst writing style! Kind of refreshing.
