Our Thursday club night is doing "Songs with aggressively persistent memories". People on Discord sharing songs which have a strong association for them, and telling the stories.

diffrentcolours requested Janelle Monáe's "Primetime", saying

Me and Erik went to see her live during the Manchester International Festival 2019, at Castlefield Bowl. We'd not been together-together that long, and it was a lovely sunny afternoon. Janelle basically told the crowd to make out during this song. So we did!

It's also my association with the song, no doubt helped by it being one of the first times I'd heard it.

We'd been together barely more than two months at the time; kissing him felt so special. It still does of course. But I remember this occasion so well.
