Goodbyes in my household:
"Hope work goes okay, love you!"
diffrentcolours said as I left.
"Same!" I said back.
Wanting to acknowledge that how
mother_bones spends her time is also work, I added "I hope Gary goes okay!" (He has been extra mischievous today, which is good to see but can also be a lot of work.)
Then, scanning my brain for anything else relevant, I remembered we'd be having our first house-cleaner visit in pandemic times this afternoon. "I hope they send the nice gay cleaner again!" I added.

Yesterday we apparently (I didn't see, I was at work) got two nice older ladies who said they've been doing this work for years and seemed very jolly. I'm glad they're sending people in pairs, it seems much less dull that way. And it means they're done quicker of course which is probably better for covid protocols etc.
