had *no idea* there was a demo out there (tho' i must not have looked , ha!). hearing the stringed-up version - collected on the "30 Years" box, was a troo revelation, ah do declare. my "history" with Brian/th'Beach Boys didn't properly begin until 1998 when i bumped up against, purely by accident, Mistah Hickey and, to my mind, associated personalities (Don Cunningham, Susan Lang, Tim Earnshaw ..) on the Internet. there was a MYSTERY - and it somehow involved Wittgenstein. and the Beach Boys. so, sure, i got rilly innerested. one of the things it led me to was seeing Brian on the "Pet Sounds Tour" in 2000 in the City of Baltimore. and "I'm Waiting for the Day" brought tears to my eyes, something that doesn't come easily !
