I really had no idea I could write it either! I started out just to say what a stupid name "the noughties" is, and then when I tried to think of something better and came up with the oh-so-clever-I'm-sure-you'll-agree Nowties, I decided to just take the nihilistic overtones and run with them. :) It's certainly not that you haven't been paying enough attention (especially as there's been little enough to pay attention to around here lately!).
